Satellite operator SES reported 1st half 2020 results in line with expectations and continued underlying growth in Networks of +7.1% year-on-year and  revenues of EUR 947.5 million, -1.5%  decrease as reported with underlying revenue 2.4% lower than H1 2019.

Adjusted EBITDA was EUR 582.0 million, -2.3% as reported (-3.5% at constant FX) compared with H1 2019 and representing an Adjusted EBITDA margin of 61.4% including a 2.2% year-on-year reduction in recurring operating expenses.

BAE Systems has completed its acquisition of the Collins Aerospace Military Global Positioning System (GPS) business from Raytheon Technologies Corporation. Based in Cedar Rapids and Coralville, Iowa, with a workforce of approximately 700 employees, the Military GPS business has been a pioneer in its field for more than 40 years and has a global installed base in excess of 1.5 million devices on more than 280 airborne, ground, and weapon system platforms.

The Board of Directors of Eutelsat Communications (ISIN: FR0010221234 - Euronext Paris: ETL), chaired by Dominique D’Hinnin, released the company's financial results for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020. It reported total revenues of of €1,278 million--a 3.9 percent decrease from the previous fiscal year 2018-2019 on a reported basis and by -5.0% like-for-like.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2020, Telesat reported consolidated revenue of CDN$ 208 million, a decrease of 10% (CDN $23 million) compared to the same period in 2019. When adjusted for changes in foreign exchange rates, revenue declined 11% (CDN$ 25 million) compared to 2019.

Net loss was US$ 12.4 million, or US$ 0.09 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2020, as compared to net loss of $18.1 million, or $0.16 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2019.
