Iridium Communications Inc. (Nasdaq:IRDM) (“Iridium”)  reported financial results for the first quarter of 2018 and affirmed its full-year 2018 and long-range outlook.  Net income was US$ 11.5 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2018, as compared to US$ 37.9 million, or $0.30 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2017.

Intelsat S.A.  today announced the final results of its previously announced tender offer by its indirect subsidiary, Intelsat Connect Finance S.A. (“ICF”), to purchase for cash any and all of the outstanding 6 3⁄4% Senior Notes due 2018 (CUSIP No. 458204 AN4; ISIN No. US458204AN49) issued by Intelsat (Luxembourg) S.A., a subsidiary of Intelsat S.A. and ICF’s direct parent company, that are not already held by ICF.

C-COM Satellite Systems Inc.(TSXV: CMI), a leading global provider of mobile auto-deploying satellite antenna systems, announced today financial results for the fiscal year ended November 30, 2017. The company has generated revenues of CDN$ 10,282,319 and a net after tax profit of CDN$ 1,035,744 or 3 cents per share. This compared with revenues of CDN$ 9,267,750 and a net after tax profit of CDN$ 1,020,234 or 3 cents per share as reported in 2016, representing an increase of 10.9% and 1.5% respectively.

Italian infrastructure group Atlantia announced that Spanish toll road operator Abertis had agreed to sell its 89.7 percent stake in Spanish satellite operator Hispasat to Red Electrica for €949 million (approximately US$ 1.1 Billion).

In October, Atlantia and Spain’s ACS completed a €16.5 billion acquisition of Abertis.
