Levin will be based in the Los Angeles area, and his initial focus will be working with Strategic Television's seasoned project management team to familiarize himself with the company's unique approach to live event management. As a project manager, he will work closely with each client to understand their needs, and then coordinate with PSSI’s engineering team, vendors, partners and venues to develop bespoke transmission plans that ensure all project goals are met successfully.
Levin brings over a decade of event broadcast experience to the role. Prior to joining Strategic Television, he launched Amazon Prime Video’s first ever 24/7, ad-supported sports network, Sports Talk. He also created the strategy to grow viewership of the national WNBA schedule by over 50%, in addition to programming Thursday Night Football content.
His experience also includes managing sports content and programming for AT&T’s DirecTV, where he supervised the NFL Sunday Ticket broadcast operation and served as lead for NBA League Pass. Levin has scheduled, coordinated and executed exclusive special sporting events such as The Masters, U.S. Open and Wimbledon, successfully managing all production aspects from budgeting to assembling broadcast traffic plan grids.
Levin, who is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, holds a degree in communication and Spanish from the University of Washington, Seattle.
“Jonathan’s broad base of experience makes him a valuable asset to the Strategic Television team,” said Garrett Hunt, who leads PSSI’s project management team. “We are thrilled to be able to support our clients’ transmission needs with his professionalism and expertise.”
