LATSAT Returns in 2023 for its 6th Edition Supported by ARSAT and the Argentinian Government

Paris, France, December 15, 2022

Euroconsult, the leading space consulting and market intelligence firm announces the return of LATSAT, the Latin American summit dedicated to the satcom, connectivity, and Earth observation sectors. The 6th edition supported by ARSAT and the Argentinian Government will be taking place on May 23-24, 2023, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This edition will concentrate 250+ key industry players including satellite manufacturers, launchers, satellite operators and service providers for two days of high-level debates on local and global market issues as well as on prospects and challenges for the Latin American market. LATSAT will also offer a world class opportunity for public and private Latin American space stakeholders to meet, network, share lessons learnt, and plan the development of their business in Latin America with regional and global counterparts.

“We are thrilled to bring back LATSAT gathering public and private decision-makers from the space and connectivity sectors to Latin America. It is a dynamic time as we see an increasing number of actors bringing new satellite services to the market”, says Pacome Revillon, CEO of Euroconsult. “As a leading space nation in the region, it is a pleasure to host this edition in Argentina together with ARSAT and the Government of Argentina”.

“It is an honor for the Argentine government and for ARSAT in particular to be invited to be one of the hosts of LATSAT 2023. This invitation is a clear example of the importance of having a national satellite industry and being part of the small concert of nations that build satellites. Since our beginnings in 2006, at ARSAT, we had the clear objective: being one of the relevant players in the sector. The situation presents different challenges, and we are pleased with the call to receive in our country the main members of the space industry and connectivity ecosystem in the region”, say Facundo Leal, president of ARSAT.

The two-day event will be rhythmed by high-level keynotes speeches and thematic round tables featuring 40+ high-level government officials and industry executive speakers. Amongst the topics addressed are Universal Access, national security, space programs & public/private collaboration, Earth observation, national broadband connectivity, 5G, IoT & Cloud solutions, smallsat opportunities, manufacturer solutions, VSAT services, and ground segment solutions.
